Hello! My name is Valentina.

I am an natural science illustrator and visual communicator based in Munich, Germany. Through my work, I aim to create a connection between people and nature, while also educating about its beauty and importance. My ultimate goal is to make science more accessible and to inspire and motivate people to protect and preserve our natural world.

Getting to this point has been part of a long journey of experiences that professionally began more than eight years ago. In Chile I specialized in the area of public and social innovation using design thinking methodologies. I worked as a project leader and consultant, managing collaborative networks and training people. After reflecting on my future path, I then decided to focus on the environmental and nature protection area. I had the opportunity to work for the COP25 and on climate action projects. I discovered my passion for visual arts, and with that I began to explore different traditional and digital media to illustrate nature and communicate its importance.

I have recently completed my Master of Science in Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich. The focus of my thesis was the optimization of interpretive signage for the protection of endangered species in the Ammergauer Alps Nature Park in Germany.

I will be very happy to get in touch with you, help you with your projects, or simply answer any questions you may have. You can send me an email to contact@valentina-arros.com

I look forward to hearing from you!
